I love snowboarding, tried it first in my mates back garden when it snowed, then started riding at Tamworth, then had a holiday in the mountains, then did 8 seasons in the mountains, then after all that I tried dry-slope and loved that too.
Would still be happy riding in my mates back garden and love every minute of it. Buy an Endeavor! |

I got into snowboarding by watching people snowboard at Halifax after going for a meal at the pub at the ski slope and i always wanted to try it so i did and i guess it just carried on from there.
One of the best parts about snowboarding for me has to be just been on the hill with my mates having a laugh riding and just having fun doing it.
Also it has taking me to places that i would of never dreamed of going to and met so many rad people. |

Ive been snowboarding and skateboarding over 15 yrs now.
I eventually got into snowboarding after seeing people doing it while a few friends and myself used to visit the telford dry mat slope for a bit of sking.I first skied back In 1989 I think, we used to go twice a year with my local cub scout group.A few yrs later the legendary board stupid channel 4 tv series came about and re sparked the flames and since id already just started learn "propper" skating me and a few buddies thought we finally give it go.I've never looked back and Ive been snowboarding ever since.
I simply love snowboarding, I wouldn't change anything about the life/Lifestyle its helped me create , Ive met so many really awesome people over the years some of which of lost touch with and some of which Im proud to say have become my friends and im still in touch with today. Its given me the chance to travel all over the world visiting diffrent countries and experiencing diffrent ways of life.During the last ten yrs Ive also been lucky enough to gain experience in diffrtent kinds of work and creating dare I say this carear opportunities such as cooking and Winter sports Retailing.
Im still shredding winter seasons and have no plans to give up just yet, Ill be turning 30 soon and Im still snowboarding and skateboarding better than I ever did.

I got into snowboarding when my friend Josh gave a presentation on the sport. My father always wanted me to try it, so I went to Aviemore and gave it a bash. However I gave it up for a year, until I met Wayne who re-taught me and I was again interested in the sport.
I now ride every week, I enjoy improving and achieving personal goals but also having a good time with my friends :) |

I started riding about 8 years ago at Halifax dryslope and got hooked. Then I did my first season in Morzine/ Avoriaz in 2006 and have been doing seasons there since then.
I love snowboarding because its always different and there is always something new to learn or do. my favourite part of snowboarding is just riding/ Jibbing around with friends on the hill and also hitting big kickers and street rails and getting a adrenaline rush. Love it! |

| Snowboarding to me in general: My interest in snowboarding began after a trip to xscape in castleford, i had my first snowboarding lesson there and ive been hooked ever since. The reason i love snowboarding so much is the progression, the great times you can have with friends and the traveling. |

When i was about ten or eleven I went on a skiing holiday to Courchevel with my family, I spent the first couple of days skiing but I did a lot of skateboarding at the time so my brother and me thought we'd give snowboarding a go. So we had one or two lessons then we were off!
Sadly we only had a few days left of the holiday, but a year or two later we went out to Meribel for a week and it was that week wich hooked me, as soon as i got home i was on the internet looking for the closest place to snowboard, luckily Halifax ski & snowboard centre was about a 10 minuet drive away from my house
I had a paper round at the time and I spent all my money on a couple of hours a week up at the slope, and not much has changed since then apart from I'm not doing a paper round any more. |
